Perhaps the most important defining characteristic of a human being is culture. The term culture as used here is not limited to operas, paintings, and other artistic endeavors. So to do well in a language？ you should identi- fy your style. and try to find a class that will teach you the way you want to learn. For example if you are a Reflective Learner you may not do so well in a purely conversational class and as an Auditory Learner you probably don't want to do so much reading. In fact if you are an Auditory Learner you are probably not enjoying yourself right now!
